Cartier Avenue

Avenue Cartier is the hidden gem of Quebec City. Located in the heart of the Arts District, it will offer you an exceptional experience with its warm atmosphere, independent shops, and various bars and restaurants. In the summer, the avenue comes alive with terraces and street performers at Place Richard-Garneau, at the corner of Avenue Cartier and Boulevard René-Lévesque, as well as at the corner of Avenue Cartier and Rue Aberdeen.

Take the time to admire the works of Quebec painters displayed on the 34 giant lampshades scattered along Avenue Cartier between Grande Allée and Chemin Sainte-Foy. The works light up in the evening, offering a spectacle and ambiance you won't find anywhere else in Quebec City.

Les Halles Cartier

There are over 25 shops, restaurants, and services in a single building at the corner of Grande Allée and Avenue Cartier. Whether you're a fan of pastries, fresh pasta, or nuts, you'll find extraordinary specialty products prepared on-site. If you're in a hurry, you can enjoy delicious meals on the go thanks to the dining area at the end of the Halles.
